About Us

Dharma World is published by Rissho Kosei-kai International, a global Buddhist movement based in Tokyo. Dharma World presents Buddhism as a practical living religion and promotes interreligious dialogue for world peace. The basic aims of Dharma World are to emphasize the dignity of human life, to consider the application of religious principles and practices in daily life, and to ponder the contribution that the world’s faiths can make in coping with the great challenges that face humanity today. We believe that all creeds can achieve unity by converging on the principle of respect for human life and universal harmony.
